Qi Gong
The words Qi Gong means “The skillful cultivation of energy (Qi)”. Qi Gong is an integrative practice which focuses on restoring energetic imbalances. Imbalances may show up as the accumulation of excess emotions such as anger, grief, worry, fear, or overexposure to factors such as cold, damp, heat etc from the environment. Qi Gong strengthens and increases a persons relative Qi levels to benefit any deficient conditions within the body. Then harmonizes a persons yin and yang energy, to bring the body’s Qi, it’s Life-force energy back into balance. Qi Gong Practitioners first train to enhance their own life-force energy then develop their ability to sense another persons Qi in order to bring about a state of health and vitality, through prescribed exercises, and direct treatment modalities.
